Void Rift
Build the run. Ride the escalation.
A Windows-first offline survival shooter shaped by a changing build and a visual-noise layer that rises with the run. Choose a Rift Form, draft upgrades between waves, meet distinct recurring bosses, and see how long your build can hold.
A survival run built one upgrade at a time, with escalation expressed through pressure and a bounded visual-noise system.

The current design target uses WASD to move, Space to dash, and 1/2/3 with Tab and Enter to choose an upgrade card; P skips the current card batch. Treat these as target controls until checked against a player-facing build of this branch.
The build is your
answer to the run.
Void Rift is built around a run that never promises a victory screen. The pilot steps into an endless field, moves to avoid the threat while weapons fire, and turns experience into a succession of choices. Each upgrade changes what the current build can answer; the run ends when the pilot falls, and the local result records how far the build went.
The approved design gives three Rift Forms a different point of entry: Storm, Fortress and Scavenger. Their identities are meant to shape how movement, survival and collection feel across the same offline run, rather than act as cosmetic character selection.
The target roster names four boss roles—Brute, Noise Emitter, Summoner and Hunter—so a recurring encounter can test a different weakness in the build. Visual noise rises with progression as a bounded pressure layer; it is a challenge in perception, not a hidden damage rule, and the player can reduce or switch it off.
This page presents the broader product direction separately from Void Rift Solo. The current implementation and its migration milestones are still being connected to the full approved content target; neither the target roster nor its final balance should be mistaken for finished player-facing content.
Start offline, select a Rift Form, move and let weapons fire, collect experience, draft an upgrade and adapt as recurring bosses test the build. When the pilot falls, the run result becomes part of the local profile.
A pressure curve with player control.
A survival run built one upgrade at a time, with escalation expressed through pressure and a bounded visual-noise system.
Three ways to meet the rift
Storm, Fortress and Scavenger are the approved Form identities, each with a distinct play role in the offline product target.
A build under a recurring test
The target pairs endless threat scaling with Brute, Noise Emitter, Summoner and Hunter boss roles that pressure different parts of a build.
Visual intensity with a player control
Noise is an escalating visual challenge within a bounded range. Turning it down or off must not remove earned crystals, records or unlocks.
One local result, no network gate
The approved product is an offline single-player run with a durable local profile; death ends the attempt and records its outcome.
Read the pressure. Choose the build.
- 01
Choose a Form
Enter from the local profile as Storm, Fortress or Scavenger and establish the run’s starting identity.
- 02
Build on the move
Collect experience and draft upgrades without stepping out of the threat that keeps scaling.
- 03
Meet the role that counters you
Recurring Brute, Noise Emitter, Summoner and Hunter encounters test the shape of the current build.
- 04
Read the result
The run ends on death and records locally; visual-noise intensity remains the player’s choice.
Void Rift Solo is a separate offline branch.
Void Rift defines the approved offline Windows product target: a death-ended endless mode, local progression, Forms, recurring bosses and player-controlled visual intensity. Void Rift Solo has its own offline implementation, weapon catalogue, boss drops and local progression. This page keeps the broader target distinct from the content currently present in either build.
